Swakopmund is located between the dunes and the Atlantic ocean. It is one of the most visited coastal areas of Namibia. The city is well known for The Art nouveau and marks of the German Industralization are still visible.
The Eberwein Hotel was built in 1909 by Hermann Wille, which was an architect and engineer. The name of the hotel in that tim was " Villa Wille". Over the years the name changed into Hotel Eberwein, but the victorian style remained untouched.
